Lee Kum Kee dates to 1888 in Nanshui, southern China. Founder Lee Kum Sheung is said to have discovered oyster sauce after a pot of oyster soup simmered down into a thick, savoury sauce. That accidental discovery became the starting point for a family business now known for Chinese sauces and condiments.
The Lee Kum Kee shelf at Pantry currently includes Hoisin Sauce, Beijing-Duck Sauce and Chili Garlic Sauce, alongside other sauces, dressings and condiments.
