Wasa was founded by Karl Edvard Lundstrom in Skelleftea, Sweden, in 1919 under the name Skelleftea Spisbrod Factory. The bakery moved to Filipstad in 1931, where Wasa crispbread is still made. The brand became a Swedish Royal Warrant holder in the 1950s and has grown into one of the best-known names in Scandinavian crispbread.
Current highlights from Wasa include Sandwich Cheese Chives, Delicate Cracker Seasalt and Delicate Thin Crisp Rosemary & Salt. Together, the range spans bread, crispbread and Dutch rusks.
