Hero has worked with fruit for more than a century and made its first strawberry jam in 1914, when preserving fruit with sugar was especially important before household refrigeration became common. The brand now spans jams, drinks, fruit products and convenient snacks.
Pantry's current Hero range covers fruit juices, jams, dessert sauces and cereal bars, with products such as Cassis, Fruit Jam Cups and Groan Hazelnut And Almond.
