Unox has been part of Dutch food culture since 1937, with roots in the Zwanenberg and Hartog butcheries in Oss. Rookworst established the brand, followed by Knaks in 1953 and its first canned tomato soup in 1957. The name is still closely associated with warming Dutch dishes such as pea soup and stamppot.
The Unox shelf at Pantry currently includes Cup-A-Soup Beef, Smac and Good noodles Curry, alongside other soups, smoked sausages and convenient Dutch meals.
