      In 1880 Jan van Delft started in Koog on the Zaan Van Delft Biscuits. And in the same street where Albert Heijn and Verkade opened their first store. In 1958 the bakery moved to its current location in Harderwijk. Van Delft was one of the first bakers with a conveyor belt oven for the production of gingerbread cookies. “As a result, we have become the largest and oldest pepper nut factory in the world. Growth through innovation is still our common thread, ”says Oscar de Lange, director and owner. "New products are added every year".
