Maldon zout bestaat uit prachtige piramide vormige kristallen. Deze zoutvlokken worden al sinds 1882 gewonnen aan den Engelse kust bij Maldon, in het graafschap Essex. De smaak van Maldon zout is milder en fijner dan die van normaal zeezout. Het heeft de pure zilte smaak van de zee. Je kunt het zout tussen je vingers verkruimelen of juist heel laten voor een extra bite. Maldon Sea Salt flakes smoked zijn traditioneel koud gerookt zout. Dit voegt een verfijnde subtiele rooksmaak toe aan het zout. Verpakt in een doosje van 125 gram.
