Nescafé

Nescafe was created after Nestle was asked in 1929 to find a use for Brazil's surplus coffee beans. Food chemist Max Morgenthaler and his team spent years developing a soluble coffee that retained its flavour, and the product launched in Switzerland in 1938. Its name combines Nestle with the French word 'cafe'.

Among the Nescafé products currently available at Pantry are Cappuccino, 3in1 Instant Coffee and Gold Instant Coffee, part of a wider selection of coffee beans, ground coffee and coffee capsules.
