      Around 1870 Jan Timmermans from Beesel started producing syrup for sale. The production was entirely traditional, using a manual press and oak barrels. At a certain moment so much syrup was sold that Jan Timmermans could no longer handle the production alone. A family business was born. In 1969 the private company Timson was founded, after which the family business went by the name Timson BV.
